Back in business
I recently deposited $40 on pokerstars, and have since then built it up to $140 playing a variety of games. I started out w/ .05/.10NLHL, $5 HU, $5 1t sngs... and a couple of $5 27 person sngs...
Since I got above $100, I've been playing $6 turbos, .10/.25NLHE, and my peak has been $170 after cashing 5th in a $4.40 180 person. I entered the FT at 3rd in chips, and before I knew it, we were 6 handed and i hadn't even played a hand yet. I went out in 5th soon after... w/ a move i dispise. I went all in from the SB w/ 28k, or so, blinds 1/2k, into the CL, he calls w/ A10, gg. I hate going all in w/ Ax because odds are if you get called, you're behind, or only a slight favorite. Anyway, that was a $46 cash, not horrible, but not what I had in mind.
I'm really trying to improve my tourney and sng game, I believe I have a pretty decent, straightforward style, somewhere in between tight/passive and loose aggressive.... a strange combination, but I think i'm doing a good job of mixing it up.
I've also created a spreadsheet that I'm going to try and be disciplined in keeping my records of my win/loss in cash games, times I cash and profit in sngs, and win/loss profit in mtt's.
Current BR~~ $150
