Pretty decent poker day

Well, it's occured... my bad luck has caught up with me... placed in two sngs... 2nd one went up against the Chip leader when had about a 5-1 lead over me... and i took it down. What was important was that i was winning every hand where i was ahead preflop.... such as:
A7os vs KQs win
A4os vs K10os win
JJ against 910 after he spiked a 10 on the flop... he didn't hit the 5 outter

it's a good feeling when you win those marginal hands on a consistant basis in a day... makes you think you CAN win at poker!

doing some big Low limit tourneys on Pstars tonight... w00t

Just one of those nights...

Tuesday nights, $5 buy in.. starting with 50 in chips, 1/2 blinds.

Just couldn't get it started tonight.... bunch of new faces and that threw me off.. here's the one hand that really screwed me over.

It folds around to me in the SB with AdQd... very nice hand against the BB. I raise to 8 total.
Here's the thing... guy to my left was playing a lot of pots, and was pretty loose. So when he reraised me another 12... first thought that came into my mind was that he was putting a play on me... however i wasn't sure, i opted to call.
Flop came Jack high, checked to the raiser... who immediately went all in.

Easy fold.... ended up busting going all in w/ middle pair.. and getting beat against "my" hand... 810.

I asked him later what he had, and ofcourse, he had AA.
what an unlucky SB, let alone an unlucky tourney. I never won a single hand.
Well, there's always next week!

$1 tourney 10/24/05

Finally get a playable hand, KK. Guy to my right raises to 100, blinds are at 25/50. Looking back, i probably should have raised a bit more, but my thinking preflop was simply "no ace on the flop!"
I raise to 250 total PF. one other caller, in the SB, and the original raiser. Flop comes Jd6d2c. Both players check to me... Here's where i totally goofed up.
Because they checked to me, they either were telling me that their hand was weak, they were on a draw, or they were slowplaying. I totally disregarded that, and decided to go all in for my remaining 1000 or so, about the size of the pot. SB calls.... original raiser reraises all in.
the hands:
SB, 22, set of deuces.
Original Raiser: 66, set of 6's
I went into the river with the nut flush draw, but did not come.

unreal the stuff that happens online sometimes.
